SYDNEY’S LARGEST HOT ROD SHOW, CUSTOM CAR & MOTORCYCLE SHOWThe Hot Rod and Custom Auto Expo is set to take place at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on the last weekend of May. The event, which is the largest of its kind in NSW and the most prestigious, is a melting-pot of Sydney's car cultures, mixing elite hot rods, street machines, and underground lowrider, and kustom culture communities. The entire weekend is filled with custom motorcycles, car clubs from all over the country, a tradeshow, an outdoor car corral, and entertainment for everyone.Andy Minas, an avid hot-rodder and event host, said that the show was a true automotive cultural experience. This event has so many different facets. There are many facets to this event. The elite show cars of today have incredible detailing, but there is also a subculture of rods and classic customs that are equally impressive in their creativity and workmanship. Nostalgia lane has become a popular attraction of the weekend. It is unique to the show and people travel from all over to see it.This weekend offers a chance to learn and look at live demonstrations aimed at the average enthusiast. There are also dozens of vendors in the hot rod and auto restoration industry. There is no entrance fee to the Rosehill Bowling Club, located on Hassall Street and James Ruse Drive.
